1400 KSLY Studio build 1983

In the summer of 1983 I was hired as the full time Chief Engineer for 1400 KSLY and 96.1 KUNA in San Luis Obispo. My first project for the station was to plan and build new studios in the Railroad Square building. This project was completed in the winter of '83-'84 and in the spring we moved to the new facility.

The station moved to the new studios still on 1400 AM. After the move they flipped the AM and FM and put KUNA on 1400 and KSLY became SLY96 FM.
